3 - 7600 GS: Anatomy

The GIGABYTE 7600GS is a card of about 180 mm long from the backplane to the end for a weight of 330 grammes. But it is necessary to take into account some 20mm more for the heatpipe tube of the dissipator. The 7600 GS of GIGABYTE is a card with a passive dissipator: it is the Silent-Pipe or the Soundless Heat Pipe Technology.

The GIGABYTE 7600GS uses one slot in height. It is equipped with an SLI connector which makes it possible to connect two 7600 GS in order to build up an SLI system. This will be the subject of a test later on. This card is provided with a DVI connector, a classic 15 pin DSub and an S-Video connector.
