3 - HD 2400 PRO: Anatomy

The ASUS 2400 Pro is a card of about 168 mm long from the backplane to the end for a weight of 230 grammes. The 2400 Pro Silent Edition of ASUS is a passively cooled graphics card: 0 db in running (noiseless cooling).

But this heatsink has limits and even gets burning when the 2400 Pro has been tortured with the fur benchmark stress test. So it is recommended, in case of intensive 3D use, to have a well aired case or to add a small fan to the heatseak.

The ASUS 2400 pro uses one slot in height and is provided with one DVI connector, one DSUB15 connector and a S-Video connector.
