This entry in the GPU Database of oZone3D is devoted to the GIGABYTE NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS in SLI mode.
The GIGABYTE 7600 GS review can be found here: GIGABYTE NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS @ oZone3D.Net.
The SLI (Scalable Link Interface) allows to link together two graphics cards in order to increase the rendering performances.
This technology can be enabled for every OpenGL or Direct3D video game. But pay attention: the SLI works for fullscreen applications only.
Windowed applications don't take advantage of SLI. You will find more information on the SLI technology here: SLI Zone.
We are going to see what a SLI configuration brings at the level performance with OpenGL and Direct3D benchmarks.
