I found this video about FluidMark:

It’s true, FluidMark is really boring. I’ll try to do better for the next benchmarks

I don’t know how but I can no longer start .cpl files. CPL files are also called control panel applet and can be started directly in command line. You can find more information about cpl file here.

What I wanted to do is to start PhysX.cpl to display PhysX Properties. After some searches, I found the solution. Just enter control followed by the cpl file in the run box of Windows:

control PhysX.cpl

and you should get this:

An interesting page that tries to collect the most full information about all games, packages and software products, which use Ageia PhysX SDK. Demoniak3D is listed in Game engines and wrappers section.

3DMark Vantage le nouveau benchmark CPU/GPU de Futurmark est disponible depuis quelques heures sur les serveurs des sites 3D majeurs comme Guru3D. 3DMark Vantage est ciblé pour Windows Vista et DirectX 10 et utilise un tout nouveau moteur 3D pour exploiter au mieux la dernière API graphique de Microsoft.

Ce nouveau benchmark est disponible en 4 versions: une gratuite (trial) et 3 payantes:
- Basic: $6.95
- Advanced: $19.95
- Professional: $495

La version totalement gratuite est téléchargeable MAIS elle est extrêmement limitée puisqu’elle n’autorise qu’un seul lancement des tests, avec les réglages standards. Je pense que l’on devrait retrouver d’ici peu la version Basic (ou Advanced) en bundle avec certaines cartes graphiques…

Ageia has announced new licensing terms, allowing its PhysX SDK to be used and its runtime components distributed in all commercial and non-commercial PC projects for free.

This is a really good news for the community and for Hyperion! I filled up the register form and now I hope to receive the download link quickly.
