Woaaaahhh.. My single HD3850 overclocked to 770/2000 at 1680x1050.  Smoke on that you shader crippled nvidia boys. If games can just start utilizing all this "potential" I'd be good to go.

Sapphire Pure Crossfire Advantage • Athlon X2 3800+ @2750
Gigabyte 8800GT 256mb  • 2X512mb Kingmax DDR 500/ 2X256mb Samsung  • Ultra 500W x-connect  • 2X Hitachi 80GB Sata RAID0 • WD 250GB + Maxtor 120Gb • Soundblaster Audigy ES • Dual 120mm standard

dang! i love those 3800's! in game speeds are a little slow, but for half the price of an 8800 they do keep up very nicely
rumor has it the 4000 series will be multi core......... yum yum yum

dang! i love those 3800's! in game speeds are a little slow, but...

Left: CMR DiRT at ultra settings in 1280*1024 with 4xAA and 8xAF Magneti Marelli Crossover (droven complete) on my HD 3870 without any modification. That's at least 40% faster than an 8800 GTX, 25% faster than an 8800 Ultra, in simple worlds: faster than any Nvidia-card on earth.

Right: Crysis in 1280*1024, all settings high, 4xAA, 8xAF, AAA on, VSynv on. 30 fps limited by my P4 with GPU load at 80%.

I'd think gaming performance does match OpenGL performance as shown with this benches.
