Here's my new card --   It's the new Gigabyte 8800GT 256MB card w/ custom Zalman and Factory overclock 700mhz core/1700mhz shader --  I was having issues with my HD3850 & it was getting bogged down and choking on games like Call of Duty 4, Crysis , Gears of War --  Not a good sign at my lowly 1280x720 (don't laugh, I like my 27" LCD TV as a monitor) --  I returned it and got the 8800gt and have it running at 725mhz core/1800mhz memory/1800 shader clock.  It's worlds better with my setup, very noticeably  smoother.  Very pleased, especially at the $199 USD price point I paid for it, no tax, free shipping.  Loving it, this card terrorizes games at my lower resolution.
