Looks like, the test is pixel shader heavy, most of the time. Just looking at the 7600 and 8600 results makes me think that.
Is a texture lookup is performed each pass, or only once?

Is in this benchmark support for SLI? My friend can't start benchmark on 8800GTS SLI.

Hi people,
Thank You for Your great software and comments.
I did few experiments with this benchmark on my machine and I got some strange results. You can find results attached. Just to mention, after I had started benchmark I minimized window and waited for it's termination. Have I told You I'm still beginner with OpenGL:)?
I'm wondering, why I got such results (big frame-rate). Whould I get approximate results in case benchmark rendered to texture and then painted rectangle with that texture (again minimized window)? Also, is there any computation on GPU while window is minimized (if we use window's framebuffer)?
Btw, second screenshot shows results when window is not minimized.
Regards,
Nenad.

Update the drivers for your video card.
I've got some issues with an old Catalyst on a X1600, unable to render the fur effect, but able to finish the test.

yep the benchmark supports SLI. I don't know why but SLI is always a bit of a hassle to setup. So in my case, I did a fresh install:
1 - Uninstall forceware (from control panel)
2 - reboot
3 - run Guru3D Driver Sweeper to remove drivers waste. GDS is available here:
http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=1672
4 - reboot
5 - install new forceware (162.50:
http://www.ozone3d.net/smf/index.php/topic,743.0.html
)
6 - reboot
7 - you're ok.
With these new and freshly installed drivers, I ran the benchmark with a 7600GS and with SLI disabled:
After that, I enabled the SLI:
and I ran again the bench:
Seems SLI is okay!

yes there is a little bug when you start the bench in windowed mode and you minimize it. But that's not the usual way to use the benchmak. Use the benchmark in fullscreen mode (default option).
So could you please run again the bench with all default settings ?

Could you please run the bench with crossfire disabled to see the impact of Xfire ?

I've found this incredible score:
5133
The guy uses a BFG 8800 GTX in SLI mode!
