AVI Texture problem
« on: September 09, 2010, 07:03:49 PM »
Hi to all :)
I try to play different .avi file in your example  "Texture_Video_AVI", but I get error:

#>WARNING: HYP_Texture.LoadTex2DAvi(): unable to open stream for file D:\Knjige\GeeXLab_CodeSamplesPack\Texture_Video_AVI\data\a.avi.
#>WARNING: Loading AVI file [D:\Knjige\GeeXLab_CodeSamplesPack\Texture_Video_AVI\data\a.avi] failed.

Any idea what is wrong?

Best Regards

There are two reasons:

1 - the codec used to create the AVI file is incompatible with current codecs intalled in Windows.
2 - in the XML source code, the path to the AVI file must be relative to the main XML file. If you need to load
AVI files with an absolute path, you have to use scripting and the HYP_Texture.LoadTex2DAvi() function.
