ATI finally release two tools dedicated to GPU profiling: GPU Shader Analyzer (http://ati.amd.com/developer/gpusa/index.html) and GPU PerfStudio (http://ati.amd.com/developer/gpups/index.html). These tools look as good that nVidia ones (http://developer.nvidia.com/object/nvperfkit_home.html) but they run only for Direct3D ...
