First, I want to say I'm a fan of Furmark and use it all the time as my primary GPU stress tool.  Really nice job!
Now to the point of the matter.  I'm a full blown Linux user and spend 99.9% of my time in the Linux world.  Since back in my Windows days I was an avid overclocker, I have been tying to translate that hobby to Linux.  One of the things severely lacking are software overclocking tools.  With both nvidia and AMD making great strides with their Linux support, overclocking is one of the things that has carried over.  They both have basic overclocking tools, coolbits for nvidia and Overdrive for AMD, and even a couple of third party tools (nvclock and ATI Overclocking Utility).  What is missing is a reliable stress too and your little app. fits the bill perfectly  It works perfectly in WINE, but that's not the best since WINE tends to break every now and then.  The tool is already OpenGL, so why not go the extra step and port it to Linux?
The user base that would be interested in this is there.  Sure it's small in comparison to Windows, but once tools such as this start to be made available more people will start getting interested.  I already saw that one thread asking why not a Linux client, but I'm sure you can get some help from Linux users proficient in such things (we may be a bunch of scary commies, but we love to help  Cheesy).  Problems deciding what to support?  Just target the popular distros (Ubuntu for instance).  Hell, it can even be included into Phoronix Test Suite, which will give you even more exposure.
So, come on.  Show us some love.  We don't bite... that much.

My biggest problem is... a serious lack of time.
But I regularly receive emails like your post and I'm considering seriously a Linux version of FurMark.
But I will need some help on Linux because I'm a totally noob on this OS...
