And no, I didn't run it on an IBM XT.  I'm seriously bummed.  I knew my system was slooooooow but this is nuts.  I know I'm not going to get 10,000 but I've got to be able to do better than 433!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm running a:

Matsonic MS9337c motherboard with an 8x AGP slot (circa 2002)
Celeron 2.6 GHz, 128 K Cache, 400 MHz FSB
GeForce 7600 GT, 512 MB, AGP
Most recent nVidia drivers
System bios updated in 2006
2 Gig of RAM (2xDDR333 1 Gig cards)

Any advise?  Thanks.

433 points for a 7600 GT is normal.

Look at the comparative table: http://www.ozone3d.net/benchmarks/fur/#comptable
- 6600 GT: 267 points
- 7600 GS: 474 points
- 8600 GT: 526 points

These scores are more average values than exact ones but they show you if you graphics card is okay or not. For me, you system is ok.

Thanks for the help.  Isn't it true though that the GT should be significantly faster than the GS?
