Radeon X1950 pro, Problems with test
« on: September 06, 2009, 02:42:20 AM »
Okay so resently i have had problems when playing games that i could play fine before. I got the new America's army 3.0 and it was good for about 5 min in a game or training. Then my screen went black and the game froze forcing me to reboot. This also happens on BF2 And now AA:Special forces. I ran the stability test. and the same thing happend black screen, Computer freezes and i had to restart. i can tell that it freezes because i have my lcd screen on my g15 keyboard which has a clock and the clock stopped moving..

If anyone could help that would be great. I have tryed re installing the video card, but it didnt help.

problem.
If I run furmark and Gpu-Z together my windows freezes.
My GPU is AtiX1900XT and W XP SP3 and Catalyst 9.3 drivers.
So I think that this is a bug…
If I dont run gpuz everything is OK :) )
If I run it together = false.

Asrock mobo
AGP x1950 pro
2GB DDR2 RAM

Latest Furmark
Latest GPU-Z

When run together PC hangs needing a power down.

When run individually system runs fine.

Is this a bug?

Certainly a bug in FurMark when it reads GPU-Z data due to the old card / old driver...
