FluidMark installation problems and one question

Hello, I have an Nvidia 8100 chipset mobo, AMD X2 5400+ BE CPU, Windows XP SP3, Nvidia 9600 GSO (96 shader version), driver version 190.38 WHQL certified. Version 1.0.0 installs and runs just fine but both v1.1.0 and v1.1.1 give the following error when I tried to start it up during installation:

Unable to execute file:
E:\Benchmarks\FluidMark_v1.1.0\FluidMark.exe

CreateProcess failed; code 14001.
This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

I've tried uninstallin/installing both versions several times to no avail just to let you know. I also have a question about getting v1.0.0 to run in hardware mode as it only runs in software mode (CPU). There doesn't seem to be any option that I can tell. Can anybody help me get it to run in hardware mode? Thanks!

Judging from Google search you must install Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86).

The hardware mode must be enabled via NVIDIA control panel.

I followed your instructions and now hardware acceleration is enabled in v1.0.0 but v1.1.1 still won't run and gives the same error message. I'm happy and thank you very much.
