Doggerland, a former landmass in the southern North Sea, has been reconstructed as 3D model using Crytek's engine.
The North Sea Palaeolandscape Project have mapped 23000 km² of this lost world using seismic data collected for mineral exploration.
Although the resolution is quite low - 1 voxel represents 50x50x10 m³ - the resulting map is sized about 1 terabyte!
Unsurprisingly there is no downloadable version, but you can get a data file for
Google Earth.
For some reason this achievement has been ignored by international press, but german magazine
"Der Spiegel" got a report and a
picture gallery.
