like title says, all i get is a blank black screen when running FluidMark v1.0.0 at the default settings. i've had FurMrk for awhile, it runs fine. i installed the latest driver/PhysX also before i ran it.. the 177.83 and 8.08.01

it appears to be running when i hit the "Go" button, cus on my G15 display (using Precision), it shows FPS starts out around 600-800. and temps go up some.. but i don't see anything, just a black screen.

i've tried to run it in Admin mode as well, no luck. any ideas?

thanks!

I to am getting the same thing?

I have uninstalled old drivers and PhysX System Software 8.08.01 via threw CCcleaner tools and ran driver cleaner. Rebooted to safe mode, ran Driver cleaner and CCcleaner again.
Rebooted to windows and ran cleaning software again. Then installed fresh 177.83 driver, enabled SLI and rebooted again.

Tried to run bench and all i get is a black screen as well.

Any thoughts?

Solution from Guru3D

Quote from: epoxer
...just disabled (exit) on-screen display server from EVGA Precision and now works as it should. I think it's similar to Riva Tuner display server ...
Quote from: THEBIG360
...anybody with the black screen issue close all onscreen fps monitoring software including fraps...

Yep guys, I confirm that running FluidMark with Fraps produces a black screen (in both mode windowed or fullscreen). I have a geforce gtx 280 + forceware 177.83. I'll try to look at this asap.

I experience a black screen too.
I thought it was folding@home monitoring, but when disabled (and fraps disabled)
it still refuses the display at any resolution but compute the simulation score.

Not sure if you no or not, but

Turn of Fraps, RivaTuner FPS meter.
Then you should be good to go!!!!

I just had the Black Screen Issue in FurMark and a RenderDepthError in FluidMarks (with no Fraps at all).

But running 'NVEmulate' to activate the OpenGL 3.0 Extensions, i saw that something activated the 'Software Rasterizer'!
So I switched it off and my problems are gone! If this is interesting, tell the guys at EVGA community!
It was definitely not me, so it might be a driver installer issue?
