AOGen GUI under construction
« on: November 27, 2005, 11:56:07 AM »
Hello everyone!
I'm working now on a new GUI for AOGen, and you can download it here http://satyr.realm.free.fr/Hyperion/AOGenGUI.zip. It is still under dev so it might have some limitations, and the first one is that you can't load a model which is in the same folder than AOGen.
To use it you must put AOGenGUI in the same folder than AOGen, then when you run it you must first define the different preprocessing parameters and then load the corresponding model. You can select as many model as you want ! :D . When you are ready to launch then preprocessing press RUN. When the work is done you will find in AOGen's folder XML files named accordingly to the model filename and the sample amount (MyModel_128.xml). If you have any suggestions do not hesitate to sumbit them!!
Bye

So I've fixed some minor bugs, improved the usage of the GUI (internally as externally), so now you can load your file from anywhere, it will generate xml files in a folder named data in AOGen's folder, and now the filename contains also the ray distance. I added remove buttons so that if you make a mistake you won't have to recreate your list!!

So now try it and generate you own Occlusion data, and if you find any bugs or have suggestions don't forget to tell me
