How to run OpenGL programs broken by ATI Catalyst 7.12+
« on: June 22, 2008, 06:07:18 AM »
In December '07 ATI removed 22 extensions from OpenGL
Unsurprisingly this mashed a bunch of applications

Therefore put a copy of atioglxx.dll 7.11 into folders of applications that stopped working.

List of affected applications:

Seems this is an habit from ATI: http://www.geeks3d.com/?p=267
In Cat 8.6, ATI has removed one extension. Since this extension has been introduced in Cat 8.5, this not really important but this is a bad habit from ATI  :mefiant:
