Hi all,
This is not a question, but I didn't know where else to post it. Maybe you already knew this, but Ageia PhysX has been acquired by NVidia, and they plan to enable hardware-accelerated physics on their graphics cards. They say the drivers for this will be released later this year. As soon as this is available, all products using PhysX (including Demoniak3D) should automatically be able to take advantage of it, if you have a graphics card that supports it. I know it's already possible with Ageia's own PPU but how many people at home actually have that, eh?
See here for a list of graphics cards that should be able to support hardware-accelerated PhysX (when the drivers become available):
http://www.nvidia.com/object/cuda_learn_products.htmlAnd see here for a little FAQ:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/physx_faq.htmlSo... Maybe it's old news but I just thought I'd post it anyway. I noticed the Ageia site was down a while ago, and now it redirects to NVidia, that's how I found out about it
