Here are the few words:
Mode 13 was in fact 320*200, ie 64000 bytes.
320*240 exceed 64KB ( Vram window...and realmode offsets for that matter :D ), 320*240 was triggered via mode X derivatives.
But I guess you know this...

It&#039;s just my way of saying Hi.

(On topic : If i&#039;m not mistaken the Vesa local bus was some uncommon proprietary standard. Never saw one but it was said to rock.)</description>

I wonder how much we better everything got (for real) since those days. As far as I can see it&#039;s still a trick of playing old enough games on new enough hardware for decent framerates.

Also, does it work when fit in a regular ISA slot?</description>
